About
Back in 2008 I decided to finally enter the blogging world after many a day spent reading everyone else’s blogs. The title “tlb entries” was (and is) an ode to my inner-tech-geek and refers to a computer term you can find out more about here: TLB, but also works (I think) quite well for a blog, so there you go.
I live in Williamsburg, Virginia with my husband Jeremy (who wonderfully shares my love for food, wine, travel, technology and photography, among other things) and orange tabby cat Ty. When I’m not at work at the College of William & Mary as a web developer in Creative Services and the College’s social media coordinator I can be found zipping around town on my Yamaha Vino scooter, playing volleyball in the county recreation league, advising the College’s chapters of Alpha Phi Omega and Camp Kesem, co-chairing the William & Mary Women’s Network, enjoying good food and wine with friends, or indulging my television habit.
This blog is around for a multitude of reasons. I’m hoping it will partly serve as a repository of random knowledge I’ve accumulated over the years related to web and software development, social media, higher ed, and mobile apps, as well as a place to share articles (via my Delicious feed) from around the web that I think are useful in some way or another. On the other, more personal, side of things, this blog will be the spot where I document some of the trips I’ve taken, food I’ve eaten (and/or made), and other random tidbits from daily life.
Hope you enjoy the blog, in all it’s randomness 🙂
